Week 3

Day 15

Small Drifts Lead to Deep Distance

You don’t wake up far from God — you get there one compromise at a time. The enemy celebrates slow progress as long as it’s in the wrong direction.

📖 Revelation 2:4–5 (AMP) — “You have abandoned the love you had at first. So remember the heights from which you have fallen, and repent.”

🕯️ The first step back to holiness begins with recognizing how far you’ve drifted.

Day 16

Without Awe, We Lose Awareness

The primary idea of yirah is not terror, but being deeply moved by God’s holiness, majesty, power, and otherness. It’s the kind of tremble that comes when you encounter God’s glory, not when you’re simply afraid of punishment. “Yirah (יִרְאָה) speaks of an attitude of awe-filled reverence that may include trembling before God’s majesty but always presses toward loving obedience.”

Day 17

Underlying Issues to Address ⚠️

👀 1. Desensitization – We’ve watched so much darkness that we no longer feel convicted.

📱 2. Entertainment Addiction – We turn to screens for comfort instead of to the Holy Spirit.

🎬 3. False Justification – We say “it’s just a movie,” but it’s really spiritual participation.

💡 4. Lack of Discernment – We can’t tell light from darkness when we constantly consume both.

🤱🏼 5. Compromised Leadership – Parents and believers set examples by what they normalize.

Day 18

Blending In Is Not the Same As Belonging

✝️ What Did Jesus and the Disciples Do Around Pagan Celebrations?

Jesus lived in a world full of paganism, festivals, and idol worship. The Romans celebrated false gods on almost every calendar day. But Jesus didn’t create “alternative celebrations” to compete — He revealed a higher kingdom.

He didn’t attend festivals to “connect with culture.” He stepped into darkness to expose it with light. When Paul entered cities filled with idols, he didn’t decorate one to look less demonic — he declared truth.

📖 John 17:16–17 (AMP)

“They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth.”

Day 19

The Voice That Saves You From a Crash

Conviction isn’t control — it’s compassion. When God warns you, He’s saving you from the consequences you can’t see.

📖 Isaiah 30:21 (AMP)“Your ears will hear a word behind you, saying, ‘This is the way, walk in it,’ whenever you turn to the right or to the left.”

“Conviction isn’t God controlling you — it’s Him protecting you.”

Day 20

Deliverance Isn’t Complete Until It’s Replaced

Once the house (your life, mind, or home) is cleaned, it must be filled — or darkness will try to return. You don’t just get free from something — you get free for something: to walk in intimacy with God.

Day 21

Holiness Over Hype

📖 1 Peter 1:15–16 (AMP)“But like the Holy One who called you, be holy in all your conduct; because it is written, ‘You shall be holy, for I am holy.’”

Holiness isn’t a punishment — it’s protection. It’s God’s way of saying, “I love you too much to let you blend in.”

The world celebrates hype: what’s trending, loud, and temporary. But Heaven celebrates holiness: what’s eternal, pure, and set apart.
