Week 1

Day 1

Day 1: My first Halloween… just a bunny costume. Cute? Harmless? Or an open door?

🐰Seeds of compromise always grow into fruit. For me, that ‘innocent’ moment became years of obsession with Halloween.

🍎 The fruit of compromise always shows itself. And Halloween has never produced life—it only produces darkness.

📖 Colossians 3:17

Day 2

“I was only 8 years old at a cousin’s sleepover when they turned on The Exorcist.I didn’t realize it, but that one night planted a seed of fear and torment.👁️‍🗨️ My bed levitated. Disturbing figures visited me at night. My mind filled with rebellion and darkness. What I thought was just a movie was actually an open door.

📖Ephesians 5:11 (AMP)‘Do not participate in the worthless and unproductive deeds of darkness, but instead expose them…’👉 One movie can plant seeds you never intended to sow.”

Day 3

“I was a daughter of God… but I dressed as the princess of darkness. 👑🖤I thought it was harmless fun, but the truth is: every time I dressed as darkness, I was agreeing with it.

👉 You become what you behold. And compromise always grows into bondage.

📖 1 Peter 2:9 (AMP):‘But you are a chosen race… called out of darkness into His marvelous light.’

Day 4

“What you celebrate, your children inherit. 🎃I thought I was giving my kids fun memories… but I was really passing down the same darkness that haunted me as a child. The costumes. The candy. The haunted houses. It all looked innocent—but the fruit of compromise always shows up in time. 🍎.

📖 Matthew 7:17 — ‘Every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.’👉 Children don’t just enjoy what we celebrate—they inherit

Day 5

The Fruit of Fear”I didn’t just have nightmares — I had night visitors. My bed would shake. Shadows moved. Fear filled my room.I didn’t understand then that the doors I had opened through compromise were giving darkness access to my life. Fear had fruit — torment, confusion, exhaustion — until I let Jesus close every door I had opened.

✝️ You can’t play with darkness and expect peace. Fear leaves when Truth enters.

📖 2 Timothy 1:7 — “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and love and a sound mind.”

Day 6

I used to spend hundreds decorating for Halloween — trying to outdo the year before. I told myself it was just fun, but the truth is, I was funding darkness.

The day I stopped spending money on what grieved God was the day peace returned to my home.

🎃 What you spend reveals who you worship.

📖 Matthew 6:21

Day 7

🌱Every Seed Produces Something

“Seeds don’t stay seeds — they become fruit. The question is, what kind of fruit? You can’t plant darkness and expect light. You can’t celebrate death and expect peace.”

📖 Hosea 8:7 — “They sow the wind, and they reap the whirlwind.”
