For I am the LORD that healeth thee. Exodus 15:26

For the last few weeks, I sit down with my son each morning and we separately ask God what He wants us to meditate on for the week. The thought immediately came to me. HEALING. I had just received a handout with the Names of God at our monthly church ladies meeting, so I thought, “I’ll just grab that handout and use the scripture for God as my healer”. Nope. God had another idea. The scripture “I am the Lord that healeth thee” came up in my spirit.

I had to look up that scripture because I am working on Bible memorization. It’s Exodus 15:26

Exodus 15:26

And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God and wilt do what is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statues, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.

Whoa……now, that’s a little different than just I am the LORD that healeth thee.

What I instantly realized is that God is preparing me for the next plague that will be unleashed on the world! God is my healer, yes, but if I don’t hearken to his voice (hear what He says and do it) and give ear to his commandments (not be rebellious or abuse His Grace) and keep His statutes, then I won’t get the next plague that He will allow in judgment on the world. Egypt is a picture of the world.

When Covid came, I got it and so did my husband. Some people got the plague unto death. Yes. God is merciful and can heal you; however, I believe this scripture is a direct word about the next pestilence or sickness that will be unleashed around the next presidential election.. He doesn’t want us to get it! Here is His way out of it!

Our God is our Deliverer and His Word, our Light that instructs us and keeps us safe in dangerous times and we are definitely living in dangerous times.

Here is how I prayed.

Heavenly Father,

I come into Your Presence, in Jesus Name, and I repent for my sins of not hearkening to Your Voice, not giving ear to Your commandments, not doing right in Your sight and not keeping all of Your statutes. I repent on behalf of my husband and son, all living relatives and all of my forefathers. Forgive us, Lord. I now break all curses, judgments, whoredoms and iniquities off my bloodline in Jesus Name and command all demons associated with the plagues and diseases of Egypt to leave my body and my bloodline now!

Thank You for Your forgiveness, Father. I receive it. In Jesus Name. Amen

Now, go get your Bible and begin reading it so you can know what His statutes are and keep them!
